The Incubate Festival returned to The MAC for another vibrant celebration of bold new voices in Northern Irish theatre. Presented by Tinderbox Theatre Company, the festival offered a dynamic day of live experiments, intimate performances, and creative provocation.

Seven artists, Soso Ní Cheallaigh, Charlotte McCurry, Steven Millar, Michael McEvoy, Catherine Rees, Seón Simpson, and Simon Sweeney, shared 30-minute excerpts of new work in development. From monologue and movement to endurance performance, stand-up, and theatrical storytelling, each piece opened a window into a work-in-progress and invited audiences to experience the artistic process up close.
