Workshop programme: The Half Light Project, at the Duncairn
A creative response to personal trauma.
The Half Light installation was a community conversation and creative response to trauma, inspired by Tinderbox Theatre Company’s production ‘Birds of Passage in the Half Light’ by Kat Woods.
This simple string installation was decorated with origami birds, with messages of empowerment inscribed within them. The installation itself was the result of a series of creative therapy workshops facilitated by Tinderbox to women’s groups across Belfast.
The Half Light occupied the staircase at the Duncairn Arts Centre for a week in September 2022.
